What is Blogger?


For a beginner, there are so many questions arise in his mind like, What is blogger?, how to create a free blog for etc. some time many people all so search, how to create a free blog in a word press?





For a new blog maker, I think it is necessary to start a free blog sites on google. when he will be become an expert or only when he or she decided to choose blogging as his career, he should switch to a WordPress site.





If you want to know what is blogger? Then the answer to the question is that Blogger is a blogging plat form.





It was developed by Pyra Labs. But in 2003 Blogger was bought by Google.





Here the blogs are hosted by Google for free. You can use a free domain with blogspot.com.





You can use a customize domain purchasing from Google.





So we should thank Google that it gives us a platform to start a free blog named "BLOGGER".





Before you start, you must have a Google account.you can create and manage your blog with the Blogger.





Theme





Blogger gives you a choice of using a theme of your own choice. It has available so many theme. You can customize your preferred theme with some extra featured.





For this you have click in theme at the Left side of your Blogger page.





Select a theme of your choice. then you may customize according to your choice. you can remove or add image according to you.

steps taken to create a blog post





  • Open Google home page.
  • On the right side of the top click on the app.
  • Clicking on blogger, sign in first with your Google account.
  • A page open in Blogger.
  • On the left side of the top click on down arrow.
  • Add new blog.
  • describe the name of your blog.
  • create your blog address (URL) of your choice.
  • write a blog of your niche.
  • Do some keyword research before writing a blog on your niche.
  • Language may be of your own choice. ( English, Hindi Or any other)
  • Blogger, give you an option of edit, Insert image, video and link of other URL.
  • Then, save make a preview before publishing.
  • Make your post SEO friendly.




Than settings is an important part of Blogger before publishing on Google search.

General settings





 User-agent: Mediapartners-Google





When you click on settings bottom at the left side of the screen of a blogger page.





First, you can write or edit the title of your blog.





To write the description of your blog click on edit bottom on description.





Choose your language for blog.





If your blog is of adult contain open the adult content bottom.





write down Google analytic property ID.





Upload your Favicon image.





Privacy & security





Then on privacy- Upon the bottom right side of visible to the search engine, without which, your blog cannot be searched on Google.





In publishing section- You can write your domain name which is end with blogspot.com





Or you have a choice of custom Domain, Clicking on which a small sticky page is shown, where you can purchase your custom domain name from Google.





It is important to Open HTTPS redirect button without which, ranking on Google search engine is not possible. It is also important from the security point of view of websites.





In permission section two settings are important.





One is your choice to show, admin and author name.





second is reader access section it must be public.





Comment and time-zone settings





In comment location, it should be Embedded.





Who can comment-- user with a Google account.





Comment moderation --Never.





E-mail section, should set according to you.





In formatting section, Time zone should be-India standard Kolkata(5:30+ GMT )





Meta description





Another part of this section on your choice.





Meta tags section-keep on the meta description button.





write meta description related to your blog.





In crawler indexing section-for indexing on Google search





Enable custom robots.txt button, keep on.





Custom robots.txt. paste the following-





Disallow:

Disallow: /search





Allow: /





Sitemap: https://www.abc.com/sitemap.xml





 Hear only one thing you have to edit.





 In Sitemap; paste your own URL/sitemap.xml 





  • Enable custom robots header tags -open the button.
  • Home page tags-click on it and in, new pages on-All
  • Archive and search page tags=click on it, in new page 0n-All
  • Post and page tags=click on it, on new page-on All




Manage blog according to you





In side feed section





Allow blog feed- Full





Title and enclosure link --- open the button





In general section, use blogger draft button should be keep on.





At last edit User profile according to you;
